Machine works great.Window coverings, patio umbrella repair,....etc.I purchased the matching table and the led lamp with 2 position brightness. . I mounted 4 inch industrial. Locking casters on the table which raises the height better for standing and operating for me. Topped it off with a noma power bar from Canadian tire with circuit protection, on/off and 2x usb charging outlets.I can roll the machine around to suit the work and or clean and vacuum. The casters also dampen the vibration and minimal noise the machine makes when operating. Pros: easy to operate Easy to oil Cons:an on/off switch would be nice. Longer cord on foot controller, In closing very happy with customer service. Ups delivery and tracking was great. Cannot beat this machine for the price.

Hello, Amazing machine. I built a dodger for my F25C using another Thompson/Sailrite clone and it being my first project I made mistakes so that I had to over build it. The clone failed so I sold it and ordered the Reliable Barracuda as I could not afford or justify the Sailrite. The Reliable went through the job where the clone had failed like butter. Great machine and great sales/customer support as they detailed the Reliable machine and also spoke highly of the Sailrite without deception. I think the Reliable (made in Taiwan) is equivalent to the Sailrite which is now built in China. Thank you! James - Farrier F25C

This machine was purchased in September 2011. I have done several large sewing projects with it. Dingy Chaps, New Windshield for our Catamaran, repaired full sunbrella area on a jib sail plus other small projects from anchor bags to life jacket bags. It sews layers with no problem. The windshield on our boat has inglass and this machine sewed it with ease. I have enjoyed sewing with this machine. The customer service has been great also, when I had questions, they were answered. A big plus in my books.

Comment by REBECCA CHILDRESS - SV BRICK HOUSE (1976 VALIANT 40) - ACTIVELY CIRCUMNAVIGATING SAILBOAT CURRENTLY IN MAJURO, MARSHALL ISLANDS. 2500 MILES FROM SAIL AND CANVAS REPAIR FACILITIES. ON A TIGHT BUDGET BUT WITH A VERY SERIOUS NEED TO FIND THE RIGHT MACHINE ON - AUGUST 08 2011 @ 09:40 PM

What I like : -It does the things I need it to do - repair my canvas, make household items, and repair my heavy sails. - heavy duty machine, with nothing flimsy or cheap about it. It will last forever. - very universal machine I can buy accessories and instructional videos and books anywhere for it. Not Proprietary. - price tag!! A straight stitch, Zig Zag, walking foot, heavy all metal quality machine like this for under 500$ ? Look around…it's a good buy! You can then add just want instead of having to pay for all the extras whether you want them or not. Quality not sacrificed in the machine itself...useless extras left out. What I dont like: -Base is not great - a case would be far better value.Power cord length is fine...no issues. -Instruction Book poor ( but easily supplemented with easily found books and videos online from other sources.) -That you MUST buy the Cuda Crank wheel for full funtionality. CAN RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE WITHOUT HESITATION. Its a gem!!

I just finished my first major project, a complete marine camper top with Top Gun heavy weight fabric, screens, and clear plastic and this machine worked perfectly - not a whimper, no problems. Great little machine for the price. Dianne

Your instructions worked perfectly. I can now easily sew 1/2" thick material. What a great machine. Nathan Campbell was so helpful both over the phone and e-mailing instructions for me. I love my 2000U33 with the Cuda Crank handwheel. Outstanding machine. Thanks so much, Steve

I bought a Barracuda a couple of months ago for my small home based business making carry-on’s, totes, etc. They are made of mostly upholstery and leather. I have also used it to make anything from drapery to jewelry cases. It is an amazing machine. It walks through pretty much anything, can handle heavy to lightweight materials and so very easy to use. I have been sewing for about 50 years (I started very young) learning on my grandmother’s pedal Singer machine. My mom told me if I wanted to learn bad enough I would start with that machine and I still have it to this day. Since then I’ve used countless other machines from different companies throughout the years and have never found one until now that makes me want to write and say thank you. So, thank you for this fantastic product!

Love, love, love it. It came already to go. Love the extended sewing bed. Heavy, honest machine that will outlive me I am sure. Just wish the manual was a little better written. Misspelled word, missing information.
