The 1500HS includes a quick-connect fitting that attaches directly to the external solenoid valve on compatible Reliable 6000, 8000, and 9000 Series steam boilers. It also features a 2' drain hose that should be routed to an external bucket or other suitable container to collect condensation and excess moisture during operation.

For consistent steam pressure, fully close the steam control knob on your Reliable boiler, then open it two full turns. Test the steam output and make additional adjustments as needed for your specific application.

Shine is often caused by applying excess heat to the material in question. The easiest way to avoid this is to purchase one of our 4000IA iron shoe accessories to reduce direct heat and allow the iron to glide easier over your fabric.

If for some reason you are unable to do this, you can reduce the chance of shine by not allowing the iron to sit on the fabric in one place for too long. You can also turn down the thermostat on your iron, but keep in mind that if you turn it down too low it can cause the iron to leak.

This is a handy accessory that allows you to rest your iron wherever the silicone iron rest is placed to avoid burning or melting anything. The iron rest can even withstand your iron at maximum temperature.
