1500HS Hat Steamer

How does the 1500HS Hat Steamer work?

The 1500HS connects to a Reliable pressurized steam boiler to provide consistent, high-volume dry steam. Internal baffles separate moisture from the steam, helping create a drier, wider steam flow ideal for shaping hats.

How do I connect the 1500HS hat steamer?

The 1500HS includes a quick-connect fitting that attaches directly to the external solenoid valve on compatible Reliable 6000, 8000, and 9000 Series steam boilers. It also features a 2' drain hose that should be routed to an external bucket or other suitable container to collect condensation and excess moisture during operation.

How do I adjust the steam output for best performance?

For consistent steam pressure, fully close the steam control knob on your Reliable boiler, then open it two full turns. Test the steam output and make additional adjustments as needed for your specific application.

How long is the hose on my hat steamer?

72", 182.88 cm

What should I do with the drain hose during operation?

Route the clear drain hose into a bucket to collect moisture buildup. Make sure the hose remains unobstructed so water can drain freely, and empty the container periodically as needed.

The 1500HS has stopped steaming or is not giving off enough steam?

If you've had the unit for a while and have been using tap water, it may be due to scale buildup inside the boiler unit. Ensure you are following the care and maintenance instructions in your user manual by draining the boiler regularly and avoiding the practice of allowing water to sit in the unit for extended periods. We recommend draining your boiler at least once a week.

Do I need to use distilled water?

If you have really hard water, we suggest emptying the water tank after use. This will help ensure that settled water does not clog the unit. For best results, always use clean fresh water. The use of distilled water is not required, but it will prolong the life of your hat steamer.

How long is the warranty?

The 1500HS comes with a 1 Year Limited Warranty.

4100IR Professional Steam Iron

Model included: 4100IR, 4100IRLEFT, 4150IR, 4150IRLIFTER, 4200IR, 4250IR

Ironing is causing my fabrics to shine. How do I stop this from happening?

Shine is often caused by applying excess heat to the material in question. The easiest way to avoid this is to purchase one of our 4000IA iron shoe accessories to reduce direct heat and allow the iron to glide easier over your fabric.

If for some reason you are unable to do this, you can reduce the chance of shine by not allowing the iron to sit on the fabric in one place for too long. You can also turn down the thermostat on your iron, but keep in mind that if you turn it down too low it can cause the iron to leak.

My 4100IR iron is leaking. How do I stop this from happening?

Leaking can be caused simply by having your iron thermostat set too low. Sometimes you will notice initial “leaking” from your iron when you first go to use it due to condensation left in the hose from a prior use. This can also happen if your boiler has been overfilled but will stop once water levels have decreased to a lower level. If you have ruled out all of these possibilities and the issue persists, please contact our Support Team at support@reliablecorporation.com or call us at 1-800-268-1649.

This is a handy accessory that allows you to rest your iron wherever the silicone iron rest is placed to avoid burning or melting anything. The iron rest can even withstand your iron at maximum temperature.

How do I attach the iron shoe (4000IA) accessory to the iron?
