The Velocity 270IR has 8 temperature settings:

2. ECO (120°C)
3. Silk (130°C)
4. Auto (140°C)
5. Cotton (150°C)
6. Jeans (160°C)
7. Linen (170°C)
8. Turbo (190°C)

After plugging in the iron, it will begin to heat up automatically. During this time, do not press the steam button. Wait for the pilot light to switch off, this indicates that the iron is heating properly. The temperature and steam status are shown on the display, and when both values remain steady, the iron is ready for use. It will also beep once it reaches the set temperature. Make sure the program is set correctly using the dial, turning it right increases the heat setting, while turning it left decreases it. If the iron still doesn’t seem hot enough, ensure the cable is fully unrolled and the correct program is selected for the fabric you’re using.

The Velocity 270IR Steam Iron is equipped with an 8-minute auto-off. To disable the auto-off, hold the steam button for 5 seconds. The unit will beep and the LED will flash a D for disabled.
